Holy Crap I Feel Old

I was out to dinner last night and was kinda flirty with a cute guy at the bar. Once we started talking a bit my eyes wondered down to his left hand...holy crap, I realized I was checking for a wedding band. I have NEVER done that before, and it was totally subconsciously. I had never felt more "almost 30" than that moment. WTF.

What the fuck? And again, I reiterate, WHAT THE FUCK??I have been in SD for almost one year, and in that time (minus the few months of having a boyfriend) I have gone on approx. 4 dates, none of which really went beyond a second or third date.I have had a crush on this guy at work for a while. We're friendly and all, but since we work together and I'm in HR, I never pushed flirting or anything. Now I have set plans to move in three weeks...and yep, you guessed it, he asked me out today. WTF? Why does fate just totally screw with you that way?He doesn't know I'm moving, and I really want to go out with him - but what does that say about my intentions if I say yes and then say 'oh, by the way, I'm outta here in less than a month' - what do you think he'll think I'm after? Guys, are you as analytical as girls are about this kinda crap? Will he think I'm being slutty, or will he still think it would be fun to have a date? Or will he even think about it at all? Bottom line - should I go out with him or is that just setting myself up for a let down when I have to leave?
